SikaFloor
Marine S-110 is used as a self levelling compound for deck, before
applying finish materials such as carpets, vinyl, tiles etc. in
all types of dry accommodation areas. Underlay for ceramic tiles
min. thickness 6 mm.

Surface
preparation:
SikaFloor
Marine S-110 may be applied on hard foundations such as concrete,
steel, which must be free of dust, grease, oil, dirt, etc.
Sika
Cleaner 205 can be used.
For
use on zinc or aluminium including anticorrosion primers containing
free zinc oraluminium. Please contact Sika Cufadan.
Primer:
SikaFloor
Marine Primer C shall be used on steel, concrete and between layers.
Mixing:
One
set SikaFloor Marine S-110 consists of:
Powder 1 bag of 20 kg.
One bag SikaFloor Marine S-110 Powder is mixed with approx. 8.5-9.0
litres of cold, fresh water to produce an easy-flowing substance.Mix
thoroughly the compound in an agitator mixer (with fixed vessel)
or with a power blender (power drill with appropriate blender acces-sories).
Application:
Application
is most easily performed with a Linotol trowel (steel board) or
smooth spatula and does not distinguish itself from other similar
marine flooring types.
After application of the SikaFloor Marine S-110 the compound must
be protected against strong, direct heat and sunlight as well as
draft.
Note:
The product can not be used in an area with a gradient is more than
3%. Contact Sika Cufadan for further information.
Dehydration
/ curing:
At
+20°C and 65% relative humidity the compound will cure after
6-8 hours. The dehydration
time is depending on the thickness of the applied layer, temperature,
relative humidity and ventilation at the working area. The compound
must be fully dry (the moisture has to be _<4% by weight) prior
to the application of dense deck finish materials or waterproof
coatings.
Cleaning
(tools):
Use
water for cleaning of tools (before the compound is cured).
Shelf-life:
The
shelf-life is min. six (6) months.
Important:
SikaFloor
Marine S-110 powder may not be exposed to moisture and freezing
temperatures.
The applied SikaFloor Marine S-110 compound may not be exposed to
freezing temperatures and direct heat or sunlight before being fully
dry.
